What kind of people are we looking for?
Every position requires a different set of skills, but in general we look for

What qualifications do we require?
In the next year we’ll recruit hundreds of college leavers. Although qualifications vary for each position, we have general requirements for trainee positions:
MechanicApprenticeship, high school diploma, formal military training
TechnicianApprenticeship, high school diploma, formal military training
Specialist3-year college or university diploma (engineering or technical discipline), formal military training
Engineer, geoscientist, consultant, support functionsBachelor degree (engineering or technical discipline)
ResearcherMaster’s degree or PhD (engineering or technical discipline)
 
What do we assess?
We have a reputation for employing only the best candidates, so our assessment process is designed to be challenging. We want to understand
  • if your personality fits our culture
  • how technical and hands-on you are
  • whether you work well as part of a team
  • how you behave under pressure
  • your approach to solving problems
  • how much determination you demonstrate to get work done
  • whether you prefer to work indoors or outdoors
  • your approach to change.
When do we recruit?
We recruit year-round. But competition for positions is strong, so we encourage early applications.
